Francesco Baldi was graduated in flute, composition, teaching and electronic music with Giancarlo Graverini (flute), Domenico Guaccero (composition) and Franco Evangelisti (electronic music). He also studied photography at the European Design Institute, directed by Nanni Loy, screenplay with Tonino Guerra and Leo Benvenuti.
He has performed with various groups, privileging contemporary and contemporary repertoire and dedicating himself to music and image works both as author and as performer. He has collaborated with film directors and theatrical groups, and subsequently devoted himself to the direction of both theatrical performances and numerous documentaries.
Important is his commitment to music teaching, especially as a flute teacher. For years he has also devoted himself to the history of rock and pop music by conducting courses and seminars in public and private institutions.
Actually he is a professor at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome.
